The Medical Assistant will greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history. They will provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures. Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections. The role involves assisting patients with prescription requests, addressing pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, updating charting, and filing. Responsibilities also include conducting onsite lab testing such as EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests. The Medical Assistant will maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms, provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values, and may require some travel to assist other local clinics.
