We are a busy, well-established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine with an expanding Provider list in need of a caring, dedicated care giver for our patients. We treat patients ranging from toddlers and up, focusing on both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. We are looking for someone with experience in patient care and a positive attitude. We strive for a family-like atmosphere with supportive staff and care about our employees individually while maintaining high quality professionalism and expertise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 90 days of hire.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical office experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communication regarding changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Completes other tasks, within scope of position, as delegated by the practice leads, supervisors, managers or Market Director.
