About The Position
Responsible for assisting providers with patient care and organizational tasks. Responsible for chart management. May be assigned to specific specialty to help with patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completed training in Medical Assistant program and graduated course.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner.
- Strict adherence to LCMC’s policies and procedures to specifically include confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel programs.
- Must be able to maintain an Excel spreadsheet for tracking.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- One – two years as a medical assistant preferred.
- NCCT Medical Assistant certification preferred.
