About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is searching for a Medical Assistant to join the Internal Medicine team! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. EMT's welcome to apply! Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.

Requirements

Current Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Offers are contingent on successful completion of background screen and immunization requirements.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Proof of successful completion of national certification examination (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) preferred
Patient care experience preferred
Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
