Make a difference as a Medical Assistant As a Medical Assistant at Texas Fertility Center, you will play a crucial role in managing patient flow and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical experience. You will have the opportunity to assist with rooming and chaperoning patients, collecting their medical history, and taking vital signs as well as assisting in the Surgery Center. Your attention to detail will be vital in preparing exam rooms for procedures and assisting physicians during fertility procedures. Additionally, you will handle patient check-out, scheduling, and answering questions about next steps. Your excellent organizational skills will be put to use in managing patient education materials, prescriptions, orders, and test kits. You will also be responsible for providing injection teaching to patients and administering injections when necessary. Your strong communication skills will be utilized when communicating laboratory results and physician orders to patients, as well as explaining next steps. Compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations will be essential to maintain the highest standards of quality control. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required for this position
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to effectively manage patient flow and ensure a smooth clinical experience.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for accurately collecting patient information, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining quality control standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in computer software and tools relevant to the role is also desirable.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency is key.
