About The Position

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Center for Women's Health at CWH Cool Springs. This role supports the licensed healthcare team in performing office examinations and procedures. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for organizing and managing clinic patient flow, gathering and documenting patient screening data, assisting with patient and family education, and communicating with the patient's health care team. The Women's Health team at Vanderbilt cares for women at all stages of life, offering expertise in annual examinations, pregnancy, delivery, post-menopause, gynecologic cancers, and pelvic disorders.

Requirements

MA certification recognized by Vanderbilt Health (AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP).
Can sit for exam if they have 12 months of patient care experience.
Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain certification within 120 days, in accordance with state guidelines.
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
