Requirements

  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license (required)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
  • One or more years of experience in a medical office

Nice To Haves

  • National certification through AAMA, NHA, NCCT, or AMT (preferred)
  • dermatology experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
  • Room patients, obtain medical histories, record vital signs, and document visits using EMA (ModMed).
  • Prepare patients for exams, biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic procedures while providing education and compassionate support.
  • Perform clinical skills including injections, suture removal, dressing changes, specimen collection, medication preparation, and sterile surgical assisting.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow while ensuring accurate documentation, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and patient safety.
  • This position requires travel between our Spokane and Coeur d’Alene clinic locations.
