About The Position
Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant with dermatology experience and phlebotomy skills. The practice is a fast-growing cosmetic and medical dermatology office in Hudson Yards, with a dynamic team and plans to expand in NYC and open a second location in Miami. The role supports dermatologists with cosmetic and medical procedures, patient care, clinical administration, and office readiness. Training and support for team members are important parts of the position. The employer emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to finding solutions. The position is available as soon as possible for the right candidate, with an expectation that the candidate will stay for at least one year.
Requirements
- Dermatology experience is required.
- At least 3 years of medical assistant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as a medical assistant in cosmetic dermatology.
- Phlebotomy skills are required.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-changing, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to remain in the position for at least one year.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dermatologist with cosmetic and medical procedures and staff procedure rooms.
- Scribe for the physician.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Conduct patient intake.
- Set up for procedures.
- Process prescriptions.
- Perform administrative duties in the clinical department.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and appearance.
- Provide high-quality customer service and care to patients.
- Perform some basic front-desk duties.
- Support and train team members.
