Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Medical Assistant certification, if required by applicable regulations or clinic requirements.

  • Maintains professionalism and strict patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and complete patient check-in.
  • Collect and update patient information, forms, and consents.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and perform general administrative duties.
  • Obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and test results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
  • Assist with patient transfers before and after procedures.
  • Prepare, order, and administer medications under physician supervision.
  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.
  • Clean instruments, manage medical supply inventory, and restock clinical areas.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and complete required annual training.
