About The Position
This role is for a Medical Assistant who will support Cosmetic Nurse Injectors. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating client schedules, handling client photography, managing social media, assisting with charting and treatments, ensuring cleanliness, preparing equipment, performing injections and blood draws, managing paperwork, conducting follow-up calls, and assisting with front desk duties. The position requires upholding high standards of client care, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in educational opportunities.
Requirements
- Nursing school student (and/or Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy certifications) required
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems required
- Ability to communicate with proper etiquette
- Ability to multi-task while being attentive to clients and remaining flexible
- Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation
- Must have sound judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull up 50 lbs
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required
Nice To Haves
- Strong Social Media acumen preferred
- Previous experience of Product/Inventory Management preferred
Responsibilities
- Organize inventory and treatment rooms
- Coordinate client scheduling with front of house
- Conduct and organize client Before and After photography
- Manage social media and client messaging for Cosmetic Nurse Injectors
- Prep and scribe client charting under supervision
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness in treatment rooms
- Prepare products and equipment for treatments
- Draw up product accurately under supervision
- Perform B12 shots and blood drawing for PRP
- Ensure client consent forms and paperwork are accurate and completed
- Conduct follow up calls with clients
- Request prescription refills from the Corporate NP
- Execute client prep prior to treatment (e.g., applying numbing cream, sanitizing)
- Escort clients to treatment rooms
- Assist with keeping medical equipment clean and ready
- Participate in educational opportunities and training
- Explain products and instructions for pre/post op care to clients
- Uphold exceptional bedside manner
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Backup front desk duties
- Other duties as assigned
