Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. About This Location: Advocate Medical Group Pediatric Subspecialties provides comprehensive pediatric specialty care through multiple clinic locations serving children and families across the South Chicagoland area. Our network offers access to a wide range of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, supporting patients from infancy through adolescence. Care is delivered by multidisciplinary teams who partner closely with primary care providers to ensure coordinated, family‑centered treatment. Our clinics are closely connected with Advocate Children’s Hospital and the broader Advocate Health system, helping to promote seamless care across outpatient and hospital settings. With a focus on accessibility, collaboration, and compassionate care, our Pediatric Subspecialties clinics are committed to meeting the diverse healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
