As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care within this collaborative model.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification ( CMA, RMA, or CCMA )
- CPR Certification
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Team-oriented and detail-focused
Responsibilities
- Support providers with clinical and preventive patient care
- Obtain and document vital signs and body composition metrics (BP, weight, pulse, etc.)
- Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and venipuncture
- Assist with patient intake, medical history updates, and EMR documentation
- Educate and support patients throughout their care journey
- Maintain clean, safe, and compliant clinical environments
- Assist with prior authorizations, refills, and patient communication
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care
