About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Dermatology Medical Assistant to work on an as-needed basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role works closely with providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care and help keep the practice running smoothly. The practice provides medical dermatology, skin cancer care, and cosmetic treatments.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, attentive to detail, and committed to helping patients. This role offers the opportunity to develop dermatology experience in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
