Medical Assistant
About The Position
The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform assigned duties that assist in providing patient care. The role performs all aspects of the MA I position and is fully competent in the clinical needs and functions of the assigned clinic and work location. The MA II is expected to follow established policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is with Pacmed Clinics DBA Pacific Medical Centers, part of Providence, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants; or completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; or at least one year of medical assistant work experience that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Six months of healthcare experience.
- Six months of Medical Assistant experience.
