About The Position
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Medical Assistant with experience or interest in dermatology. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology experience preferred but not required (training available)
Responsibilities
- Assist the dermatologist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies
- Take patient histories, vital signs, and document in EMR
- Educate patients on post-care instructions and skincare regimens
- Handle specimens for pathology/lab testing
- Perform scribing and charting duties as needed
- Support front desk as needed with scheduling, phones, and check-ins
