Join our ENT team as a Medical Assistant and help patients find relief, restore function, and improve their quality of life through specialized, compassionate care. This is a .9 FTE position, working 72 hours bi-weekly, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. The role is located in our La Crosse and Onalaska Clinics. Requirements
- BLS for healthcare workers
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
- Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.
Responsibilities
- Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments
- Update patient information in charting systems
- Take vitals
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during office visits and procedures
- Administer injections and immunization
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care
