About The Position
The Medical Assistant supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks. The role assists physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. This PRN role is based at Health Plaza Family Practice in Davenport, Iowa, with a Monday–Friday day-shift schedule.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration is preferred before hire and required within one year.
