About The Position

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant, CDT, or LNP
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior dermatology or surgical assisting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong clinical background.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories, medications, and vital signs.
  • Act as a medical scribe during patient exams to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering local anesthetic (numbing).
  • Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens.
  • Assist providers during both minor and major dermatologic surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and well-prepared clinical environment.
  • Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
  • Manage prescriptions and necessary paperwork.
  • Support providers with follow-ups, biopsy tracking, and pathology coordination.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and efficiency in all patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with the care team to uphold clinical workflows and patient satisfaction.
  • Returning patient phone calls.
  • Must be able to travel.
