About The Position

Cleaver Medical Group is seeking an exceptional Medical Assistant or LPN to join their dynamic dermatology practice in the Cumming area. The practice specializes in Mohs surgery and offers general dermatology and dermatological surgery services. They operate in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a candidate with multitasking skills and great organization. Requirements

• Medical Assisting certification or LPN license
• Experience in dermatology (significant experience in other specialties, especially family practice, will be considered)
• Endlessly positive attitude
• Detail oriented
• Computer savvy and technology friendly

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Managing patient flow/triage
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Documentation in EHR
• Scribing for physicians
• Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times
