About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. This role involves collaborating with Clinical Services staff to deliver outstanding patient services in a positive and flexible environment, fostering patient comfort and trust.

Requirements

  • Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
  • High degree of diplomacy and tact.
  • Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of “Universal Precautions” and adherence to HIPAA standards.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.
  • Valid State Driver’s License preferred.
  • Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review and update patient records before appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date.
  • Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.
  • Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately.
  • Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
  • Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly.
