About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Assistant (MA) to join their Holland ICC Walk-In Clinic team. This role supports two full-time providers in a fast-paced walk-in clinic environment serving patients of all ages. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and older adult patients. This is an opportunity for an MA who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and is passionate about providing excellent care to the community. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with an MA scope of practice Required
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with another MA to support two full-time providers.
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and older adult patients.
• Ensure the delivery of the best possible care as a member of the clinical support team.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals.
