About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide routine clinical support under the supervision of a physician and assist with both front and back office responsibilities in a vein treatment practice. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude are essential.
Requirements
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a clinical or vein treatment setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinical tasks under physician supervision, including preparing exam rooms and assisting with procedures.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms and ensure they are comfortable and informed.
- Accurately input clinical information into patient charts and maintain up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Coordinate front desk activities, such as managing incoming and outgoing mail, and distributing internal correspondence.
- Answer and redirect phone call to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and general office support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient practice operations.
