About The Position
Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned walk-in clinic(s). Works in collaboration with clinical team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED.
- Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National HealthcareerAssociation (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
- CPR required.
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be familiar with computers.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred.
- electronic medical record experience preferred.
