About The Position
The Medical Assistant works under the general direction of a physician or nursing personnel and reports directly to the office manager. The role provides healthcare to individuals and families as instructed by the physician, performs routine clinical procedures, and carries out other duties assigned within the scope of certification.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Hold National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Hold current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of professional medical assisting experience in a practice setting.
