The Support Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical and administrative support in outpatient primary and specialty care under a licensed clinician. This role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care through collaboration with healthcare professionals and manages instrument supply, including inspection, decontamination, and sterilization. The MA will also perform environmental maintenance duties as assigned for clinical equipment within Dermatology, Mohs, Audiology and ENT departments, ensuring proper cold chain management for the storage of medications and therapeutic injections, and sorting, inspecting, and assembling procedural instruments and safety equipment with knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
