The Medical Assistant reports to the Ambulatory Clinical Manager, Practice Manager, or other designated supervisor and works under the general supervision of a Licensed Independent Practitioner in an ambulatory care setting. This role is performed in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, and clinical standards. The Medical Assistant provides age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while promoting patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Brown University Health's mission, vision, and values, with respect for each patient's developmental stage, cultural background, and individual needs.
