About The Position

Seeking a full-time Tampa Region Float Medical Assistant CMA/RMA to join Millennium Physician Group's esteemed Primary Care medical team. This role involves ensuring excellent patient care and customer service, directly participating in patient care by collecting vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic tests, performing basic medical procedures, and entering data into electronic health records. The position offers comprehensive training, including classroom and hands-on instruction on Electronic Health Records, referral processes, and the Patient Portal. Requirements

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
• Regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance
• Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
