About The Position

Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The Medical Assistant experiences continued training of all aspects of the Medical Assistant role.

Requirements

Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT or Paramedic Certification.
At least one year of direct patient care experience (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
Certified BLS to be obtained through employment provided RQI training. To be completed 3 months (90) days of hire or job transfer.

Nice To Haves

Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office
EPIC EMR experience
