About The Position

Main Line Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Family Medicine practice in Havertown, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will also be cross-trained as a Patient Service Representative. The Medical Assistant works closely with patients and healthcare providers, assisting physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and other patient-care needs. The role also supports smooth patient flow and anticipates the needs of patients and providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Complete supervised hands-on clinical training through a practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient-care experience. This requirement applies to new hires effective 09/01/2026.
• Obtain BLS for Healthcare Providers at the time of hire or within 30 days of the start date.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs.
• Help maintain smooth patient flow.
