As a Medical Assistant, you will be a part of the Clinical Care Team engaging with our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health. The Medical Assistant role makes a difference in the patient care we offer and assists physicians and other clinicians by providing a unique blend of skills and knowledge to carry out prescribed medical treatment. Medical Assistants are multiskilled health professionals responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks in our primary care facilities while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining positive patient engagement. As a Medical Assistant, you will report to the Clinical Administrator and/or Center Administrator and work closely with Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support efficient clinic operations. You will assist with patient intake, discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines (as permitted by certification), perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screenings. You will also prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Success in this role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset.
