About The Position
The Medical Assistant supports physicians with medical procedures in the office and is responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. The position is based at the Flagler Office and requires a valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office, with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred.
- Valid Florida driver’s license needed for travel to clinics.
- High school diploma or GED required; documentation must be produced at the time of hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days.
- New hires are subject to background screening, drug testing, and required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an exemption is approved.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of medical assistant experience in a clinic or physician’s office and the ability to perform venipunctures are preferred.
