About The Position

Gardner Health Services is recruiting for a Medical Assistant position based at the Gardner Health Center in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. Certification as a Medical Assistant is required, but candidates currently in the process of obtaining their certification are welcome to apply. Candidates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered for immediate hire or placed on a list for future vacancies. The Medical Assistant is a key role in Gardner's medical clinics, responsible for both hands-on medical and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working with diverse populations is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Requirements

Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved Medical Assistant program
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR Certification
Bilingual in Spanish required
Certification as a Medical Assistant
