About The Position
IVI RMA North America is building a talent pool for future Medical Assistant opportunities across our Colorado locations. As a Medical Assistant, you'll support physicians and patients in a collaborative fertility clinic environment while gaining valuable clinical experience in a specialized field. Requirements
- 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
Nice To Haves
- Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program
- Phlebotomy Program
- 1+ year Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn preferred
- Prior experience in Fertility, OBGYN, or Women’s healthcare – preferred
- Experience supporting clinical procedures is a plus
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms
- Support patients during clinical visits and procedures
- Perform specimen collection and processing
- Assist Physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
- Maintain supplies and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and fully stocked
- Practice phlebotomy
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
- Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
- Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
