About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Lung Institute/Pulmonary Clinic. This role supports the licensed healthcare team by managing clinic patient flow, gathering patient data, and assisting with patient education and communication. The clinic serves diverse patient populations including Lung Transplant, Thoracic Surgery, Interventional Pulm, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Cystic Fibrosis. The Medical Assistant will perform tasks such as EKGs, administer vaccines, and assist in procedures like thoracentesis. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with no nights, holidays, or weekends required. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and contributing to an efficient clinic environment.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
