About The Position

IVI RMA North America, a leader in reproductive medicine, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our growing Burbank, CA practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a highly specialized clinical environment while making a meaningful impact on patients during an important and emotional chapter of their lives. In this role, you’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, high‑quality fertility care. We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced medical setting where teamwork and empathy are essential.

Requirements

6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Nice To Haves

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
Phlebotomy Program – preferred
Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
EMR experience - preferred

Responsibilities

Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
Follow proper protocols for all procedures
Practice phlebotomy
Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
