About The Position
The Medical Assistant supports physicians with medical procedures in the office and performs phlebotomy and laboratory-related duties, including testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics, and BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment. FCS will provide a BLS course during the first 30 days. The posting prefers at least one year of medical assistant experience in a clinic or physician’s office, including the ability to perform venipunctures.
