About The Position

We are hiring a Medical Assistant for our Neurosurgery department located at the Elmbrook Medical Office Building in Brookfield, WI. This is a full-time, day shift position. The Medical Assistant will assist with treatments ordered by the physician under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts. They will also prepare treatment rooms, perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing, and assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

40 hours a week | M-F | 8 AM - 4:30 PM | No weekends or holidays
No travel to other clinics
Medical schooling and certification preferred
Neurosurgery experience

Responsibilities
