About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring two Medical Assistants for its Pain Management and Spine clinic near the Nampa Medical Center. The role supports a new physician and APP in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic focused on whole-person pain management and spine care. The programs offer approaches such as physical therapy, injections, nutrition, exercise, relaxation, stress management, and biofeedback, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with spine conditions. Along with typical Medical Assistant duties, this position involves gathering medical histories and urine toxicology screens, educating patients, preparing charts, reviewing referrals, obtaining prior authorizations, scheduling procedures, responding to patient telephone calls and MyChart messages, and cross-training with front-office staff. The schedule is 40 hours per week over four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, approximately 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with Fridays off. The clinic is located at 4424 E Flamingo Ave., Suite 310, Nampa, Idaho 83687.
