About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to work with a healthcare provider in Internal Medicine at its Pikesville location in the Woodholme Medical Building. The role involves providing patients and families with positive, supportive, nurturing, and professional care, including triaging calls, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and providing follow-up. The position is Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 or more hours per week. Schedule flexibility is required, including availability as early as 7:30 a.m. and on Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m. Candidates selected for an interview must take a medical skills assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current registration or certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care.
National Medical Assistant registration and experience in Primary Care.

Responsibilities

Assist during routine examinations.
Record patient histories and log vital signs.
Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
Provide Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Triage calls, room patients, assist during office visits, and provide follow-up to patients and families.
