About The Position
Hopscotch Primary Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to support patients and providers in a collaborative, relationship-focused primary care clinic. The role helps create a personal and supportive patient experience through rooming, clinical assistance, care coordination, and clinic preparation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekends or major holidays. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour based on experience and location, with quarterly bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Relevant Medical Assistant clinical or externship experience.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Comfort using EMR systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Primary care experience.
- CMA or RMA certification.
- Experience in team-based care environments.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and room patients.
- Take vital signs and update medical histories.
- Support providers during patient visits.
- Perform phlebotomy and basic lab work.
- Administer vaccines and screenings within certification.
- Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and diagnostics.
- Answer patient questions and provide phone support.
- Prepare and stock exam rooms.
- Support a clean and safe clinic environment.
