About The Position

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in its dermatology practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be computer literate.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dermatology experience is preferred.
• Medical Assistant certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program is preferred.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ skin conditions.
• Assess and update patients’ medical histories.
• Keep records of patients’ dermatological symptoms.
• Analyze information about patients’ skin health conditions.
• Inform patients about proper and available treatments.
• Conduct non-intrusive medical surgeries.
• Educate patients about preventive skin care.
• Screen patients and employees daily upon entry.
