About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care and support the team’s dermatology and aesthetics services. The role contributes to the patient experience across dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. Responsibilities include preparing patients and examination rooms, assisting physicians, performing basic laboratory tasks, maintaining records, coordinating appointments, and educating patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures and ensure necessary instruments are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
