About The Position

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong customer service and clinical skills to provide care in its dermatology practice in Montgomery, Alabama. The role supports patient care and experience while working with a team of dermatology professionals.

The Medical Assistant evaluates and documents patients’ skin conditions and symptoms, updates medical histories, reviews information related to skin health, explains treatment options, performs non-intrusive medical procedures, and educates patients about preventive skin care. The role also includes daily screening of patients and employees upon entry.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have CPR certification or be able to obtain certification within four weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dermatology experience is preferred.
• A medical assistant certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program is preferred.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
