About The Position

The Medical Assistant supports pediatric clinical visits at the Glenview, Illinois location. The role includes welcoming patients, escorting them to exam rooms, documenting visit information, taking basic vital signs, and providing front-office support as needed. Phlebotomy and injections may also be required. The position is full time and may require travel to other sites based on department needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
• Medical Assistant Certification through AMT or AAMA.
• Previous experience working in a medical office or related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to the exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit.
• Provide front-office support as needed.
• Measure basic vital signs, including blood pressure, height, and weight.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections when required.
• Travel to other sites based on department needs.
