As a Medical Assistant - Float, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients while supporting physicians, physician assistants, staff nurses, and clinic leadership across our Denver Metro clinics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or Licensed Medical Technician, or Equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare experience
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assist providers during patient visits
  • Room patients and prepare them for examinations and treatments
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, professional service
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Medical Assistant clinical skills and clinic procedures
  • Complete Clinic Assistant I & II competencies within 120 days and Clinic Assistant III competencies within the first year
  • Accurately utilize electronic medical records and computer systems
  • Cross-train to support front office operations, including: Answering phones, Patient check-in and check-out, Scheduling appointments, Insurance verification and billing support
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with providers and teammates across multiple clinic locations
  • Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care and clinic operations
