About The Position

Oregon City Family Practice, of Praxis Health, is seeking reliable, friendly, and energetic Medical Assistants with outstanding people skills to join their team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring seamless patient care. This is a full-time position in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA
• Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients quickly and efficiently
• Performing Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurement
• Updating medical records
• Assisting with minor procedures and administering injections
• Supporting patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-ups
• Managing medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environment
