About The Position

Corewell Health Rivertown Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join their clinical support team. This busy office has a good balance of pediatric and adult patients and offers growth potential for new Medical Assistants. The team emphasizes learning by doing and values teamwork to ensure the best possible patient care. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse care options and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
One of the following Required within 120 Days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)

Nice To Haves

1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
