About The Position

Mt. Baker Pain Clinic located in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician to join our growing medical team. We specialize in the treatment of back, neck, and joint pain, sciatica, cancer-related pain, and other chronic pain conditions. Our mission is to help patients regain control of their lives through individualized, patient-centered pain management plans. Requirements

Dependable and punctual
Able to work independently with limited supervision while anticipating workflow needs
Adaptable, flexible, and team-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High School Diploma or GED required
MA or NA Certification through the Washington State Department of Health (Must be willing to obtain X-Ray Certification through on-the-job training)
Strong computer skills
Excellent vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of human anatomy is a plus
Previous CMA or CNA experience preferred (Willing to train the right candidate to obtain MA-R)
EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate C-Arm imaging equipment during procedures in our surgery center
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain strict sterile techniques
Sterilize medical equipment and operate autoclave
Room patients and assist providers in clinic
Create, update, and maintain accurate patient PHI within the EMR
Deliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic communication
Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to support patient flow
