About The Position

Mosaic Community Health is sponsoring a Medical Assistant training cohort through Central Oregon Community College (COCC) — and we're looking for motivated individuals ready to commit to a structured, rewarding career path. This is a temporary Medical Assistant Trainee role where you'll gain hands-on clinical experience in an ambulatory care setting while completing your coursework, labs, and competency requirements through COCC — setting you up to transition into a full career with Mosaic. How It Works: In exchange for fully sponsored training, graduates commit to a two-year, full-time Medical Assistant role at Mosaic Community Health. This is a real career pathway — not just a class. Cohort start date: June 22, 2026 Program length: Approximately 6 months Training through: COCC Medical Assistant Program Cost: Fully covered for selected participants We’re sponsoring this cohort because we believe in growing future healthcare professionals within our communities. Requirements
- Interested in healthcare and looking for a clear entry point (high school diploma or GED required)
- Prefer hands-on learning in a team-based environment
- Reliable, motivated, and ready to commit to a fully structured program
- Seeking a meaningful, long-term career—not just a job
Responsibilities
- Maintain active enrollment in the COCC program
- Complete competency checkoffs and training milestones
- Build confidence and professional experience throughout the program
- Support the mission, vision and values of Mosaic
- Obtain appropriate certification within 30 days of program completion
