About The Position

Mosaic Community Health is sponsoring a Medical Assistant training cohort through Central Oregon Community College (COCC) for motivated individuals ready to commit to a structured, rewarding career path. This is a temporary Medical Assistant Trainee role where you will gain hands-on clinical experience in an ambulatory care setting while completing coursework, labs, and competency requirements through COCC. Upon successful completion of the program and certification, graduates commit to a two-year, full-time Medical Assistant role at Mosaic Community Health. This is a fast-paced, high-commitment program with mandatory attendance for all COCC program requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Interest in healthcare and looking for a clear entry point
  • Preference for hands-on learning in a team-based environment
  • Reliable, motivated, and ready to commit to a fully structured program
  • Seeking a meaningful, long-term career

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active enrollment in the COCC program
  • Complete competency checkoffs and training milestones
  • Build confidence and professional experience throughout the program
  • Support the mission, vision and values of Mosaic
  • Obtain appropriate certification within 30 days of program completion
