About The Position

Northbridge University is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant Technician Adjunct Instructor to join our growing campuses. This role involves teaching students in the Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program, which prepares them for entry-level employment. The program covers essential knowledge and skills through classroom instruction and supervised clinical practice or a capstone, including preparing patients for technical examinations like EKGs and phlebotomy, and performing such procedures.

Requirements

  • An Associate Degree or higher.
  • Current Florida Certified Medical Assistant (BMO).
  • Current valid Medical Assistant Certification: RMA, CMA, or NCMA Required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level; preferably in the proprietary school setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the medical assistant field.
  • Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft Office applications, Adobe.
  • Familiarity with information systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach students in the Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program.
